Unfortunately this Ryder Cup is going similar to the last two. The Euro's end up with such a large lead after the team events the U.S. has a tough time coming back in the single matches. The afternoon matches today will probably decide the outcome. If we can't at least gain 1 point this afternoon then tomorrow will be for entertainment purposes only.

All packs peaked at just over 4000 on the first charge (using 3mv/cell peak), but on their second and third charges they only took in between 3200 and 3400 using a 5mv/cell peak.... all packs were equalized to .9v/cell...

should i be concerned? should i just cycle them a few more times and hope for better numbers? should i try a higher peak detect setting ? (they dont seem to be getting too hot)

the charger is an eagle cdc 6b, charging at 5A.
well i've been back home for a couple of weeks now, and in this time I've cycled the packs a couple of more times.

the numbers are back up to 3800-3900mah per charge, using a 3mv/cell peak detect, eagle cdc v6b...

not sure what happened, but the numbers are back and im more than happy with the packs, in fact I just received another 4 packs that are waiting to be built.

Can anyone tell me what the newest version of the GP3300's look like. I'm looking to pick up a couple of sets. I wanna make sure i get fresh batts. and not somethin' that's been on the shelf too long at my lhs. I've seen zebra black/white, yellow top and green like a duracell, green/pink fade, and I coulda sworn I just saw an all red cell. Whats the major diff. in all these?

The new ones are green/orange, the rainbow ones are the old ones. The zebra ones are the same cell even though they claim it to be a custom cell. The only thing that GP will do custom is the shrink wrap they put on them. The red cell is a Sanyo. It is the new 3600 cell they have but the funny thing is that the GP 3300 actually ends up having over 3600 mah now. Hope that helps clear things up.
