Kerry: The only sure-fire way to test it would be on a Turbo Dyno. You can narrow it down using an LCR meter, but the best inductance doesn't always result into on-track performance.

Just returned from the IIC race in Vegas...It was absolutely the most organized and premier event I have ever attended.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all my team drivers and racers who kept my motors out front:

-Mark Smyka
-Carissa Figelski
-Jeff Dayger
-Paul Ciccarello
-Kelly Beller
-Mo Denton
-Brad Johnson
-Frank Calandra
-Chris Doseck

...and thanks to all of you that ran 'em like a "wolf in sheeps clothing..." Glad I could help...

Joey: Start with a green brush on the positive, blue brush on the negative, with red springs. Remove .010" off the trailing edge of each brush, break in and race...

...It was just brought to my attention that even though the boys ran 2,3,4,5th in the 19 turn Foam A Main, my two guns that ran 1-2 in the B Main were faster than the winner of the A... ugh.

EA: I'm sending stuff to Schumacher for the Nats. Is ot OK to send it to Adrian?
LMK...

But then it goes on the say to increase rpm install the cut side on the brush towards the left side of the hood... This is my question which side is the left???? positive on the top or on the bottom

the cut side would go on the trailing edge.
that would mean that when the armature is turning it would be
the last part of the brush it touches.
or....
if you hold the motor in front of you and look inside the brushhood
from the back it would be the left side.

hope this helps
