Thumbs up

Here's my 2 cents towards Todds brushes...I had been using them for at least a number of years since Jesse been bringing them in to Canada. All I can say is it's been taking me forward. Results speaks for themselves.Thumbs up man..

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Putnam motors are really hard to get hold of in the UK now as the distributor, SD Racing have gone bust.
Any idea on how to get hold of them now?

Thanks for the endorsements guys. We work hard on our laydown program to insure that our customers have the maximum performance for their respective racing applications.

highwayman : The XXX compound is designed as a long wear compound. In a nutshell, you give up a bit of perfromance with that brush in exchange for longer comm and brush life, vs. our compounds. We take the "Michael Schumacher" or "John Force" approach to our compounds...we don't look for design for maximum mileage, just maximum performance.

JRXS : we have been contacted by many UK distributors who wish to import our products since SD has folded, but it will take some time to finalize our business plan, negotiations, etc. with them. In the meantime, you can purchase our products on-line from:

I've gotten numerous emails asking questions re: products and part #'s I've mentioned in posts, etc, but they aren't listed on our website...
Just thought I'd let everyone know that our website hasn't been updated in a long time, and only represents a fraction of the products we now offer.

If you have any questions, just give us a call...

Thanks.

With all of the success you guys have had in the last year in 12th scale, can you offer a good motor suggestion with a baseline setup for 12th scale stock? Is there a ballpark rollout number you can suggest to start?

Thanks,

doug

17 We're all out of 1/12 HD Chargers. If Eric @ Darkside has some, get them quick!!!
Yes, our Aero-1 1/12th Dodge is ROAR legal.

Apex;: Start with our #EFB-180 brushes, (Blue/Green Combo w/ trailing edges removed) and green springs. If amp draw is excessive, (9 or more @ 2 volts w/ a fan) remove add'tl. brush mat'l.
Starting rollout varies depending on motor, track size, driver and battery voltage/resistance. As an example, Smyka has ran 3-4 teeth higher than other A-Main drivers and ran partial throttle, conserving battery throughout the first half of the race. Then, he has power in reserve when he needs to pass...
Drivers with less discipline who try this will dump the car, running it too hard. You also need a killer chassis setup that doesn't scrub speed off in the infield in order not to bog the motor, since it's pulling such a tall gear.
