Thumbs up Snowbirds interview

Brad awesome job on the mike at the birds. The interview after your win was riveting to say the least.

Thanks to Brad and Hurricane Motorsports crew for sponsoring the RSJ Raceways Round of the Midwest Touring Series...

If you went to that race or the birds you got to see this bada$$ new Hurricane display.

There are also some random pics in the MTS Series thread...

That was a very impressive display case at RSJ for Hurricane Motorsports.

Seems like the batteries speak for themselves though; an awful lot of fast guys were running those cells this weekend.

Thanks for the help and support Brad. The batteries have been great performers from day one (now, if only I could perform on the track as well as the batteries...).

That display is really nice.....

Man there is something like 80+ entries for the 4th round of the Hurricane Midwest Touring Series. It looks like this race is growing after every round. I think next round at Trackside will be even bigger yet. Makes you wonder what this will turn into next year.

Vogan....Good luck out there man.

Default gold brushes

Does anybody know how well Hurricane's Gold brushes react to a vertical slot being put in them?

Fuzzy....they react like any brush would that you put a vertical slot into. IMO if you put a hole in the center of the face of the brush you get the best performance and life span. The vertical slot will increase amp draw to the motor but I think thats b/c you have an extra edge that catches on the segments and it also adds heat. For me the best route has been to put a hole in the center of the brush. I hope this helps.

Nice work Voganski. Did Hartman or Darroch go with you? And is there a website for that race anywhere? How was the track?

I was running my BMI Pro 4 in touring and a Speedmerchant Rev 4 in 12th

Dan and Ray didnt go....too busy. The track was decent, taped down in a community center so there was good bite with TQ compound.

They are supposed to post the results online sometime...will let you know
