I've got 2 new 1.165-1.169v 6 cell 420+ packs on the way for my 12th when I finally get it. I'll just split them into 3 4-cell batteries.

Do hurricane cells respond ok to a 5amp charge rate? I don't want to abuse the new cells when I get them. Also just use the standard .03-.05mv cutoff? They are just for club racing, and practice.

Thanks

Fatdoggy....Cool... Im sure that you will like them. Yes a 5 amp charge rate is fine with a .03 drop back. The main goal is to keep an eye on the temp of the pack you want it to peak out around no higher then 150deg. You can change your drop back to rasie and lower the peak temp but most time when the pack does peak out will be at about 135 to 145deg with a .03 drop back. Some chargers might require you to maybe use a .02 or .04 drop back to get into this temp range. Good luck and if there is any more questions feel free to ask.

Most of the time I charge at 5.75amps and my packs last quite a while so your 5 amp charge rate will be just fine.....if your racing stock or 19t you can bump your 5 amps up a little for a little more punch.

Fatdoggy....Cool man yeah let us know what you think of them when you get to race them.

Word on the street is that the Web special packs are moving out the door at the speed of light.......make sure if you are in the market for some cells to get the order in before they are all gone.

Hey Guys - Thanks for the great response to the new Web Special! Orders are leaving the shop fast. Get them while they last.

Fatdoggy - Hope you enjoy your new cells!

Thanks - Brad
