Congrats to all Team Hurricane Driver's who made the A-main at The USVTA Nationals. It was a great weekend of some close door to door racing.

What is a good starting point for the 17.5 motor, on a TC5, Speed Passion speedo, running on rubber outside?

Motor....middle timing hole
SP ESC.....DDRS at 9, Timing at Max
Gearing.....gear for the size of the track....motor temp around 160....not higher then 180.

Any pictures? I want to see the rug...

Yep, I have to, because of the job status... I'm staying home this year, until I get a job. So electric is it for me... not a problem, I enjoy electric action anyway...

I would say start with 4.0 to 3.7 and see what the temp is like.

Thanks for getting out my 17.5, and 13.5 duo motors and 5000 lipo brad... I need some fresh stuff for the asphalt season... If anyone is looking for duo motors and lipos get them while you can !!!! The motor and lipo supplier is moving and its going to be tuff getting motors and lipos for about a month or some..... SO get your supplys for the outdoor season NOW while you still can !!!!!
