Kevin said he couldn't start for ANY other team. I just put up nine off the top of my head that he could either win easily or have a very good shot at.

I could make a good arguement that he could start for every one of those teams that I listed.

Or I can just make blanket statements like "Kitna is better" without anything to back it up.

How does 688 more passing yards 3 more td passes and a 4.5 % better qb rating fit for a blanket.

All while playing with the 2nd worst team in the NFL

They only won the Super Bowl despite his bad game. Have you checked his performace in the previous three road playoff games to even get there?

at Bengals: 14/19, 208 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT, 148.7 rating
at Colts: 14/24, 197 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT, 95.3 rating
at Broncos: 21/29, 275 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT, 124.9 rating

Still think any of those other QBs would get those results, playing 3 straight road games in the playoffs?

Ok other then the Rookies.....there are two QB's that are on this list that are suspect and Ben would be better then them.....Harrington filling in for Dante and hes better then Ben and Frye....and maybe Grossman but we need to see antother full season of him if that can happen. So it looks like my statement holds some water.

FYI....Kitna was better then Ben last year just by the numbers stand point.

I really don't care what the Steelers did last year, or this year, or for the next three.

Naturally, I hope they do well, but I didn't get upset over an 8-8 year. Same will hold true for the next 4 years. They're a whole lot more competitive than the Pirates, that's for sure.....and THAT was the point I was making with my initial post. You guys turned it into something else.

I read an article years ago on ESPN.com that said, "If your team wins a Championship, you can't complain for 5 years" and I agree with that. Look at the poor fans in Arizona and Detroit. They haven't even gotten a sniff in forever. Heck, it took the Steelers 25 years to win #5. I'm plenty happy right now.

Same thing with college football....I graduated from Florida State. I've seen them win 2 National Titles....was even in attendance in Miami for the first one. Should I be screaming for more while the alumni at Wake Forest or Vanderbilt can only pray for one winning season every 8 years? Will they EVER be in the title game?
