The Midwest Onroad Champs at AJs was a blast!! The weather held out and there was no rain. The cool weather was perfect and kept motor and engine temps down.

The Hurricane crew and Hurricane powered cars did awesome.

qualifying order:

Rob "Is" King threw down and TQ'd the Open Modifed Class
Kevin Kane I think qualified 2nd or 3rd.
Me...6th :P

If I remember right the finish was Rick Davito (running Hurricane 3700s), Kevin Kane, Matt Kufman, and Rob King.

Kevin and Rob had an awesome battle going for the entire race for 1st and 2nd. On the last lap they bumped and Davito snuck by :P

finish order:

Rick Davito
Rob King
Matt Kufman
Kevin Kane

I am not 100% sure if those are correct but it's close.

----------

19T Rubber was a blast and I thought most people felt it was actually more fun running rubber tires then foams. The pace was just about on par with the Foam guys.

Qualifying order
Mike Dibb TQs
Chris Wilde
Nexus
Kevin Kane

The Main was fast and Mike Dibb got away from everyone. Chris had 2nd pretty solid. Kevin and I battled for a few laps for 3rd...that was a blast Kev...I saw you nailing the brakes deep into one of those turns a bunch of times to catch up.

Finish Order.

Mike Dibb
Chris Wilde
Kevin Kane

I burned my 19T up and finished 7th.

Hopefullly complete results will be up soon.

----

Everyone running the new Hurricane GP3700s were impressed and I didn't see anyone dumping the whole night. People still had plenty of power left after their runs.

It was an awesome race. The asphalt track is super fun, I can't wait for the carpet to go in!

Big uppppsss....to Rob King on the TQ in Open Mod of the Midwest Champs at Aj's it was a hell of a run. Don Vitto got the lucky dawg award and the win congrats. It was heck of a race I cant wait to buy the video....I think the top 5 had one heck of a race for the first laps and every one was so close on speed it was great racing all around.

Nexus it was fun racing in 19t rubber it was fun and I look forward to some more rubber tire racing it was blast. Seeing how Mikey's JRXS worked I think I was driving the wrong car in that class....

The race was great and the weather worked out not a drop of rain no thanks to Nexus as his rain dance....

Can you tell me more about this?

Will it be a Buddy Blystone Edition?

When will it be available?

Paul

The video is on the IRP home page http://www.intenseracewaypark.com/default.asp Not really a clean video but you get the picture. Its amazing how cool the track is at night....now only if a national type even would be run at a place like that.....
