A lot depends on the components you use. I run composite diffs and IRS pincushions, aluminum lay shafts, 3300's, TC2, Futaba 9404 (I think), XXL rx and mine is about 40 grams light. We use a min weight of 1531 grams WITH transponder. I add the weight right beside the motor and it corner balances perfectly.

I would like to thank Jason for next day air service for my new blue BMI TC3 chassis setup. Packaging was great, no way would it have gotten beat up by my UPS guy. After opening it I was really impressed by the quality of the milling work. Also was impressed that my kit was already put together with the motor mount and toplate on. This is by far in my opinion one of the nicest after market chassis setups you can get. Now I just have to get off the computer long enough to put it together. Top quality work Jason. Let your guys know who milled this they did a great job. Oh yea I also love the BMI Racing routed into the topdeck. Also a fine job on that.

protc3 Damn your good. I just finished my BMI TC3 about 2 minutes ago. It is the first time I have ever had a graphite chassis that I did not have to file the battery slots to get my packs to fit. This thing is just damn killer looking. I took the time to put chassis protector on the bottom of the chassis and ca around the chassis and battery slots. Jason you have a great product here. Anyone thinking of getting one of these kits will be treated to top notch quality!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier with the product I received from Jason at BMI.

By chance is there an area where there are a bunch of BMI TC3 chassis pics in one area...

I know the website but it only has one pic. Just wondering if someone had a place/site that I could see all different pics of the car without surfing through this whole thread.

To have every screw and nut on the car covered you would need the following

Wrenches
.050 (sway bars and such)
1/16 (all counter sunk screws)
5/64 (diffs)
3/32 (all caps screws)

Nut drivers
11/32 (wheels)
1/4 (plastic shock nuts)
3/16 (small nuts for the ballstuds and whatnot

I don't think Hudy carries standard allens since all their cars are metric. They have the nut drivers though.

The inner most mount on the rear shock tower is more upright than the outer most mount on the standard tower. This will give the car a quicker steering response.
