Default NTC3 rack

While all you experts are here, I was starting to install my ntc3 rack on an etc3. Did ya'll end up taking some material off of the diff case? It looks like that would need to be done. Also, it looks as you take enough material to "almost" hit the shaft bearing that is in that location. Or am I doing something wrong?

Default NTC3 steering Rack

I found a small right up on page 19
http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...&pagenumber=19

But there is not much to confirm what was going on. Nobody at our club is doing it so I havnt gotten the oppertunity to actually "SEE" exactly how it's going to gether. I just want to get it right.

Hi everyone:

again I see the pics didn't post. I wll try again later. seems to be on my end still.

Acyrier:

Hi,

youre right you need to remove enough off the lower diff case to gain clearance for the swing rack. you need to almost go to where the bearings are. on a tub chassis you need to go through the bearing bosses for clearance. e mail me for some pics. also you can grind SLIGHTLY on the servo saver for clearance if needed.

any questions please e mail me at [email protected].

Thanks
