Wow... where is everyone??????

The BMI cyclone was insane yet again at the ORL2 event today. Its incredible that the car just keeps getting faster, easier to drive, and in a word.......better.

Another great showing for the car...... congrats to the team.

Damn right Kris.

I used Kris's setup on a brand new Cyclone today and I must say it's probably one of the better setups I've run so far. What's nice is that the stuff we have been changing isn't all that drastic. The car is responding well to small changes.

At today's ORL2 event at Kranzel's R/C, Larry Fairtrace won Stock touring running a Cyclone, I won 19T touring running a Cyclone, and I won 12th scale OPEN running a 19T. Yup, the BMI DB12 was pretty darn good too. Next time I'll have the right tires.

Thanks again Jay.

PS: We need more spares.

Hey gang,

Racing at "The Track" was great. There were alot of heavy hitters there for the warm up and express had 4 drivers in the "A". Robbie TQ-d and won stock, Craig got 2nd with his new ride, wade made a strong showing finsihing 7th (I think), and Jesse also putting it down.

I qualified 3rd in the "B" after a difficult day with the new car. In the main I got past some traffic and checked-out. I was almost a lap on the field when I got "bumped" and my speedo shut off That race was mine! The Cyclone was very good and I'm looking foreward to the eXpress race in Dec.

Thanks Shreff for the set up info and Jason for the Chassis!!! This car rocks and is very fast in the corners.

jason,

the db12 was amazing this weekend. The car had a little push in stock, but in mod, there was no-one else's car that looked better on the track. If it wasn't for the driver, the car would have finished with a podium in region 9.

Also tie breakers in triple a mains are a bitch!

who needs a carpet and an asphault chassis.

thanks again for the great car.

Just what I was looking for. I have only run the car on bumpy or odd bite tracks and was looking for a good high bite setup.

Thanks,

Tim

this was not an error.this was added wheelbase adjustment.wasnt there 1.5mm shims included in you chassis kit?the kit gives you 3mm more length of adjustment which really improves the handling on carpet.i do suggest using T2 front hinge pins in the rear because they are the same diameter but longer.they are a perfect fit.hope this helps.

Trust me, the shorter wheelbase makes the car TURN!

I am using the BMI shock towers. The position in the front is between 2 and 3. For the rear its between 4 and 5.

If you don't have the BMI towers.... i would go with the more leaned in hole for each one.

I'm fully loaded as far as BMI is concern also your Droop setting is the up-travel. Horsham has a lot of traction where I race is the completely different so I may lean the shocks on the A-arms.but do think 6 degrees castor blocks may be to much for this layout....small and tight
