is the BMI T2 Asphault chassis softer than the stock T2 chassis in its softest posision, or is it stiffer than the stock chassis in full stiff? or is it some where in between??

The stock XRay chassis is 2.5mm, but the graphite itself is standard.

The BMI T2 asphalt chassis is 2.25mm, but the graphite is Quasi-Isotropic. That's the 45 degree patterned graphite. It's stronger then the stock T2 chassis and it is also less prone to tweaking. If it does tweak, it won't tweak much... and it will take a huge hit to do so.

In all reality, with both chassis setups set at full stiff, the BMI one is just a tick stiffer. The flex is just the right amount. Taking screws out of the bottom of the BMI chassis won't do much as the chassis is not cut out like the stock T2 chassis. Taking screws out of the top deck will do more.

And Cory, you saw my car at the Express race this weekend. Even when the track was at it's worst as far as bite was concerned, I had all the screws in the chassis. The car still had plenty of grip, but not too much grip to slow it down in the corners.
