Default TC3

WOW!!!! I finally got my BMI chassis for my old faithful TC3. I spent a day at the track testing and after about 3-4 changes the car finally felt good. I didn't have timing gear so I was tuning to just to get the car to react like I want it to.

The car felt great to drive but I had no idea how quick it was. Come race day I FTQd and won the final! I was absolutely amazed especially since I'm normally happy just to place in the top 5. I'd say that over 5min I was approximately 30 seconds quicker (with no change to motor, batteries or gearing)!!!!!!!

Jason, great work!

the carbon should be here this week.i spoke to my supplier and he said it should ship beginning of this week.

the t2 asphalt kits are ready for production as soon as my carbon comes in.it seems that mike blackstock and jared scott are doing well with there BMI asphalt chassis kits at the reedy race.

btw-do you guys have a battery strap in gunmetal? Tapeing in batteries just sucks when your as bubble headed as I am. I always leave the pinion off, or have the wrong pinion on, wrong motor in. I always realize it after I solder in and tape in the battery!!

Hey that looks like a carpet chassis. Why are you running that this time of year

I wish I had a need for a DB12. The carpet track we were promised was going to happen fell through after all.

Jason:

Hi,

Can't wait for your new 1/12th scale car.... and we have a carpet track somewhat close to us for summer racing!!!!!!
LMK. I'll try to call you Sunday night.

Jon:

Hi,

sorry to hear you lost your chance for a carpet track to be closer. man it's a blast. I forgot how much fun 1/12th scale was. (to busy wrenching on sedans and Mini's 1/12th scale). hope you get a track closer to you soon.

Thanks
