While everybody is at the Bird's maybe someone could answer a question.
Just bought a used BMI wide top deck for my FK05 ( yah, I know its an antique, but the hop-ups are going reall cheap. )
The holes for the rear and motor mount don't line up. The FK was from the last production run, 2 chassis kit.
Is there a diference in that kit ? The top deck is straight and looks great, but does not line up with the stock top deck either.
Thanks for any help.

The BMI top deck you have must be used with the BMI chassis for the FK05, not the stock chassis. It will then line up perfectly. PS. The BMI FK05 works great!!!

i thought i'd bump this up considering some people have issues with the T2 decks.

anyway, Jason, when will you bring out a BMI T2 chassis, topdeck, towers and batt strap kit like the old fk04 chassis/fk05??

when (because i know you will ) bring out the T2 kit, can you make a extra hole on the first servo post so people with limited top deck space can have the option of moving the servo forward a bit?? i did a mad hack job with my chassis, but i want a nice proffesional job. someone mentioned above combining the two rear holes, i'm thinking if you do this you would have to still make the front servo post holes similar to the original chassis rear post holes though right?? to stop the servo from shifting back and forth??

cheers.

TOMAS B,
SYDNEY AUSTRALIA

ps; i loved my full kit option BMI fk04!. the quality was light years ahead of my PRP pro4 chassis kit!

yeah but funny enough i don't have this issue. most peopel do. but what i ment was not moving the servo outwards but forwards (like towards the steering turnbuckles more)

this will allow people running specrum recievers, or novak brushless units to have a bit more space on the chassis, and also allow people to run a motor guard. (the motor guard currently doesn't fit if you have a spectrum receiver, as the reciever goes slightly over the screw hole).

Jason - What happened in your main bro? You were leading, and poof, broken car? I was watching the race live on-line.

yeah,i had the worst luck with breaking.i was running my 415 and there was no where to get parts.i broke pretty much every round and was ca'ing my arms back together. my car was running pretty good and at about a minute to go i touched a flapper and that was all she wrote.1/12th and touring quals were rough for me.i had no luck but still had fun.at least the rest of the team did well.i enjoyed getting to see everyone.and dont forget to ask Mo Denton about how i put 3 laps on him in the 1st qualifier. (inside joke)
