Hello,I just purchased a FT TC4 for use on carpet with foams. I am wondering if the BMI TC4 chassis is an improvement over the Factory Team chassis? Does the BMI chassis make use of the stock Factory Team chassis stiffner that connects the bottom deck to the top deck?

Thanks
Joe

Hey jason

Just got my BMi2 chassis through today - looks awsome! Can't wait to get it together for our carpet season!
Not impressed with the import charges though - another 28! thats $40+ !!!!
Jon Kerr has passed on his carpet setup so i'll use that as a starting point and see how we go form there. Let you know how I go!

Paul

I can't take credit for that setup. It's Weylin's setup. I just copied it.

Default BMI TC3

BMI racing in Northern Ireland is going gd, I'm the only one, loads drooling over it. Got 8th in B final, finished 5th and then 8th in the second final due to a faulty tranny. Second week I had poor qualifying as couldn't get the right spur and pinion set up, ended up starting 5th in the D, finished 1st both times with 2 laps over everyone else even though I had to stop to put a tyre back on, wasting about 30seconds getting the car round the track to fix it.
Great car, love it. Can you put the carbon fibre shock towers from the Factory Team TC4 on the TC3? If I can I will, lol.
Great Car Jason, Better than I had ever hoped, keep up the good work m8,
Ryan

hey joe,

my chassis kit does not accept some of the new FT stuff like the motor mount and center stiffener.i designed this kit around 6 months before the release of the FT.i do have the chassis ready to accept the BMI stiffener center support which will be available this month.there are differences between my kit and the AE FT chassis.i have different weight distribution and steering geometry on my kit.my kit is 3mm chassis, top deck and battery strap.let me know if you would like any more info.

as for cutting an RDX Chassis,I cut the 4mm RDX chassis for Specialized RC and made an agreement not to compete with them.

yes,i did get shirts made.i will be having more made.i was very happy with the look and quality.i will have them for sale shortly.

thanks,
jason
