Thanks MB Racer.
Your setup is similar to mine although not exactly the same even though I am running on foams.

Hi ProTC3, here is my setup so far for foams althogh I am away from home at the moment on Holiday so it is from memory. You know its great how we are in the middle of Summer while you have winter.

front:
rear shock tower used
shock mounted second hole out
4 degree hub carrieres losi spindles
upper inner on camber link
outer hole on a arms
F-2 block

springs front silver rear silver

rear:
middle hole on shock tower
upper inner ,on camber link
outer hole on carrier
R-3-2 block
sway bars .. front and rear std associated thickness

droop: front 5
REAR 7

shock oil....front 40 rear 40

Tires:
Front 35 at 21mm wide
Rear 30 at 23mm wide
No traction compound
I would like to try wider tires but they are hard to come by at the moment here in New Zealand.

Ride height: 5mm front and Rear

Motor: Reedy 9x2 Pt
Gearing 104/29 or 30

Our track is very fast and smooth. The ashfelt has about a medium grip. Ther is a long sweeper that gets tighter and tighter as you go through it at the end of the long straight and at the moment I need more steering in this part of the track. The car just seems to quick down the straight and pushes as it goes into the sweeper.

Oh, one more thing.
I run a one way in the front.
I am seeing alot of talk about spools but I don't know what they are or if they would would work in my situation.

Any thoughts?

A spool is a solid diff. No slip in either direction.

Post hey fatbear !!

I would stiffin up the front of your car maybe use a blue spring up front ,, it sounds like your car is washing out going in to the sweeper., if you make it stiffer it will drive harder on line off power and you should be able to drive through without the front pushing ... just a thought ..give it a try.. front of your car is just too soft IMO,, and a spool is like direct drive .. maybe use on sweeping tracks not tight tech tracks..

I had a chance to see Eric Anderson's BMI chassis last Saturday in the Boro and was impressed with how much it cleaned up the TC3's chassis. I will be getting me one soon. What has been the feed back on outdoor tracks so far??

If Jay can't get one to you in time, I have a blue 3mm top plate you can use for the Novak race if you want. looks like Iwon't be racing that weekend (work got in the way).

Jay:

Call me at home.

Hope everyone had a great New Years nite/day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
