Thanks bro. Depending on how things go, I should be able to make it to the next La Mirada race. I'm hoping to make a trip to SoCal next Saturday.

well I finally got to test my BMI TC4 kit and it performed ok. I had to correct a few things on my setup but I think the car is going to be dialed. I have one serious concern though. I stripped out 3 spur gears on Saturday. In all three situations the mesh was set correctly and the motor did not move. I have to assume that the chassis flexed and pulled the pinion away from the spur under high loads. Jason how close are you to getting that motor mount done because I can't afford to keep going through spurs like this. I believe that the motor mount will solve everything.

unfortunately the stock cam motor mount was a bad design and is the reason i didnt use it on my tc3 chassis.90% of the people i spoke to wanted me to keep the AE mount on my tc4 chassis.the problem is that you cannot run 64 pitch gears with the tc4.the slightest bit of chassis distortion will strip gears.i am working on the new motor mount and should hopefully have them finished by the end of the week.i really apologize for the gears buddy but there is only so much i can do with the stock parts.i will look into also look into finally releasing the center support which will also help alot.

I made a home made center support for my BMI TC4 chassis. I have not had a problem stripping spur gears since. So I firmly believe that this in combination with the new motor mount and we should never have another problem.

Default Jason....

have you done any testing running a 3mm chassis and upper deck on the TC4? If so, what did you think of it? I'm wondering if a 3mm upper deck would work better on high bite carpet? If so, can you add that to my order?

Thanks.

McNicols Polishing and Anodizing. It's 4 miles from my house. If you need anything done, lemme know. I'm gonna do another batch of red parts, so let me know if you want to get in on it. I'm gonna do my TC3 and 12th parts.

L8r,
Tim

Default BMI FK05 chassis

I was about to sell my XRAY 05 car because it just wasn't performing. It was okay when I first got it, but every change I made to it to get raceable made it worse. Lately, it's been almost undriveable. I've been very dissappointed with the car. I thought I'd give it one last chance. I bought the BMI chassis hoping it would make a difference. I could feel the difference right away after I upgraded. The car felt more stable and was more consistent and it even seemed a little quicker. But it still wasn't quite right. I made a few setup changes and now the car is SO dialed it's scary. Man, I can't wait til the next race. I have a lot of frustration to make up for
