Default Jason....

I hope you will consider making some good delrin diff outdrives with retaining collars for the TC4. The TC4 is very popular at my track (10-15 at this time, maybe more this winter) all being in stock and 4300 classes. We are all in need of a good stock outdrive. There are no good options. IRS or the Pal Speedway which are way too expensive. The TC4 community needs you! I'll buy a min. dozen order! I don't understand why no one has jumped on this business sales opportunity. The first to come up with a good solution will sell the bazoobas out of them.

Anyway, I can't wait to show off my future BMI chassis when your motor mount and upper deck comes out. You better get them stocked up.

My problem with the girlfriend is not as much the money I spend on the cars but more so the time I spend on the cars. Particularly on the weekends, I always feel guilty going to racing on a Sunday because I know the girlfriend will be thinking why is he at racing instead of spending some quality family time with her and my baby.
Man I need to get her into racing cars or at least into another hobby.
I think it will be alot better when my son is old enough to come along to racing.

you need to get her to work on them. That way you don't spend more.

I think I have a pretty good arrangement.

Wife and daughter play with horses - shoveling sh 1 t all day.

Son Josh and I play with cars and bikes.

It works well. When I raced real cars she was always involved with the time keeping etc. but she doesn't find RC as interesting, so thank goodness for horses. May they keep sh 1 tting till eternity!

protc3,

just curious. are you still going to support older kits (i.e. Xray T1) for the coming years? Will it be a hassle for you to make a lone T1 chassis in the future or will it be as easy as loading up a CNC program and firing away.

BTW, I just got hold of a used BMI TC4, gonna try it on sunday.

As far as rubber on asphalt check out jilles or peter's reedy race set up, but they are quite different, the carpet and rubber set ups, around a 15+lb/in difference in springs, less shock, a spool, etc...
stormperson,

I analyzed and tried their setups a long time ago which helped me to come up with my old FK04 setup and my current FK05 standard chassis setup. But they weren't running the new BMI chassis which has a different weight distribution and shock angle placement.

Jason,

Thanks for the referral. I've PM'd Mark and Jon, and I'll be performing some extensive testing today with our local ace Mike McD (one of your sponsored drivers I think). I was really looking to gain some direction on which way to go with the new chassis if I experienced any problems. Thanks!

hey guys,
i should have the prototype motor mount finished tommorow.it is looking really cool.it is pretty difficult to make as of now being that im making it fit in place of the cam but i gotta tell you,it looks sick when its cut.as of right now the whole mount is already half the weight of the stock mount.by the time it goes into production it should be under or at the half ounce mark.the stock motor mount cam set up weighed in at 1.161 oz.

Default Great! I can't wait to get my hands on one!

Pics soon? Jason, I got a feeling you won't be able to keep up on orders when you get all this stuff out. Lots of buzz at the track and we have a ton of TC4 that need you. Remember short term pain, long term gain.
