I think they are $125.00 for the chassis, upper deck, cf battery strap, battery stand-offs and upper deck standoffs. That's a good price for what you get.

Default Jason...

how narrow is your BMI X-ray chassis? Is there a big difference between the TC4 and X-ray05?

the fk05 chassis is more narrow than the tc4 due to the direction the servo is placed.it is rotated 90 degrees and also alows for a more inward placement due to the belt drive setup.

Default Jason...

That gives me an idea, why not have the servo mounting holes long like your chassis battery standoff mounts. That way you could move it in or out to help balance the car. I run a heavy metal geared KO digital servo. Just an idea.

Default Simply Amazing!

I am impressed!
I am amazed!
I am extatic!
I am as giddy as a schoolboy!
I am Dr. X's irrepressable enthusiasm!

I took delivery on a BMI chassis for my Xray this week. One of those front/back battery configurations like Josh Cyrul used. I put it on the rug for the first time today and all I can say is....

HOLY SMOKIN' ROCKETS!!!!!!

I simply cannot believe what a dramatic improvement this chassis has made to what was already a pretty decent car.

Not knowing what else to do, I used my carpet setup from last winter as my baseline (w/ stock chassis). The only change was I didn't use a front anti-roll bar, and I upped the shock oil from 50wt to 70wt. I figured I'd take today to get a new setup close to sorted out and tweak it some more at a race this Wednsday.

No way! This car was totally, TOTALLY, TOTALLY hooked up from lap 1 and wicked fast. It was more stable, more predictable, more accurate, far easier to drive overall , turned in like it had eyes, allowed me to get on the power much earlier in the turn, and tracked out on corner exit like the front was glued to the ozite. I drove faster, more consistently, more aggressively and with greater confidence than I ever have in the two years I've owned that car (T1 EVO2).

It's like I just got a whole new (and much, much better) car.

Props, kudos, thanx, hats off and I'll dance at your wedding to the BMI crew for helping out on deciding what chassis to get, and for providing a product that is light years ahead of excellent.

I am sold for life!

Thanx BMI

Chaz Clover

Chaz, glad you like the chassis, Jason makes great stuff

Where in Denver do you race? I'm gonna be there in 2 weeks and wouldn't mind checking the place out.

There's 3 places in the Denver area where we race ep touring.

Hobby Town Lakewood - Sundays, parking lot in front of store

Hobby Town Westminster - Sundays, parking lot out front - Wednsday evening indoor.

MHORR - outdoor perm track (very nice) sundays per schedule - next race is tomorrow after that every couple weeks.

I'll be racing inddors on wednsday nights till the end of the outdoor season when all racing moves inside. Then I'll start racing sundays.

Any other ???? fell free to ask

Added another 1st place to my list today at a cash back race. This BMI TC4 is just a joy to drive. I can't tell you how many times the announcer said..."That car's on rails!"

Jason...can't wait for the new motor mount and shock towers!

Default Old Skool!!

Hey all,

I went old school yesterday at an all day practice. Billy Sydor let me borrow his BMI350 and i installed the new hard arms and a set of TRF Fluorine shocks. Wow-that car is still amazing. Still one of my favorite cars of all time.
