Jason, I need to know if I can get me a black chassis for the Xray FK. It would need to be the one for asphalt. And also tha would be the black that looks the same as stock, I don't remember which one that is, and also how much would it cost.

Hey Brian, dont know if you did it, but on mine, I sanded the Cam where it rotates to the motor mount, also sand the motor mount where the cam hit when you rotate it. By doing those you can really go up on the pinion though you still are limited. A BMI motor mount would really set this car off!

Jason: I dusted the cobwebbs off my BMI TC3 today and ran touring stock today. I finished 4th in A-main on the lead lap (there was a B-main) . I haven't touched this car since the Snowbirds and I forgot how much fun it was to drive. The car was great all day!!

Just heard that Jason took 2nd in the B-main at the Fl. State Off-Road Race held at B & B Hobbies in Hudson today. For a city kid he does all right in the dirt!!! Way to go slacker!!!!!!!!

Thanks Tim. That would more than likely cover me and if I go to a 96 tooth spur instead of my 100 I normally run. I will looking into doing that. Thanks for the info.

The new motor mount would be great.

Yea, the next time I see you I can show you where I did it. I also pretty much only ran the 96 spur, it seems when you run 19T you use even a bigger pinion

Jason, does the Ti coloured CF have more flex than the black stuff?

reason being, i was running a 12t (yes, only a 12t) in the BMI at the weekend and it was really good for a few laps but if you hold the car in your hand, firmly and put your foot to the floor you can actually see the chassis 'twist' because of the torque of the motor, becuse of this, i stripped 3 spur gears,....although i have a solution for this.

on your (if you do) new motor mount, make the spur holder thingy part of the motor mount, this will stop the pinion and the spur seperating and stripping the spur....

i believe it was like this on your tc3..so it shouldn't be to hard to use the same sort of mount on the tc4.

Jason,

I received the TC4 chassis yesterday. I finished it up today and everything is great. Thanks for a great kit.

Later.

matt,
the titanium is a very slight bit more flexible than the black.it is so slight that it barely shows up on my gage.i will be making the motor mount with a built in bearing sleeve that will eliminate the seperation in that area.i will also be making the center supports for the car to lock it solid for real extreme high bite conditions..

paul,
glad you got it buddy.let me know if you have any questions.

and i would like to remind everyone.all aftermarket parts for any car i make kits for will be a direct bolt on to mt existing kits
