The front strap stand-off can slide back and forth about 1/2".

gaz, the ver.2 chassis has a 'slot' along the battery slots on the bottom, if you want to tape your batteries in...the tape sits flush with the chassis so there is less chance of it chatching and ripping....and the fact that the ver.2 allows you to tape your batteries in, i don't think you can on ver.1

also, there are 2 small holes front and rear in the cnetre to balance your car from left to right with 2 small tees....there are also 2 holes in the centre (looking from the side) on either side so you can balance in front to rear.

hey gaz, motor mount looks cool buddy.

the newest TC4 kits have the pocket for the tape under the batteries and the balancing holes.this was just a few things that were added to the chassis as time went on.anyone who has a chassis from me prior to these changes can have them updated very easily.just let me know.

DJG24,
the chassis stiffness is adjustable with removing the standoffs.with good high bite conditions on asphalt with rubber tires, the rigid set up really does work the best.not to worry though,it is very adjustable.

Ran my new BMI TC4 this weekend and it was awesome tonight. I struggles at first becuase the my new rubber tires didn't work so well but at out track new tires take 2 to 3 runs to really get good. Ended up going 6 seconds faster than the week before and could of been a lap more if I didn't have a wreck in my best heat that was 17 seconds til the marshall awoke from his nap.

Car was consistant all night.

Jason I will be looking forward to further updates on the car. Really going to look for the new motor mount. Cam is ok but limited the gearing I needed tonight. The new chassis is killer. Really was a blast to drive.

Default Jason...maybe you can answer this question...

does camber link angle have any neg. or pos. effects on handling? I noticed that the TC4 has angles different front and back. I should clarify, looking at it from the top being angled forward or back.

The website isn't updated yet, but you can call Jason and order what you need for the 1/12 conversion.

Not that I could tell. My handling was better oeverall once my new tires broke in. Tires wore great all day. I don't think the camber angle affected my car.

I'm very pleased with my car and how it works. I just like shaft drive cars overall but thats me. Something about how free they happen to be and the what I think is a tad bit more acceleration even when over geared. Just me on that!!!!!!!!! Car is easy to work on as well. I'm going to work on it this weekend and have it ready to race next week.
