I race stock and i used 1.2mm sway bars all around, and my shcok setup was yellow/black front, and stock gold rear, and 50lb shock fluid all around. My ride height was about 5mm. Any suggestion guys on good asphalt setup? HELP PLEASE.
Ask Mark Mendoza,he will help you.Asking here can only get you so far if they can't see what the car is doing.Otherwise, see me at timing and scoring next race and I will look at your car.Or better yet,buy an Xray.

Default thumbs up to BMI....

I have to say I'm the pickest person when it comes to RC parts. You might say that I'm a Simon Cowell (American Idol) when it comes to judging RC equipment. I'm very impressed by the quality of my new BMI Pro 4 chassis. The little details are great and it's a work of art! Keep up the good work Jason. I'll be waiting for the TC4 parts and I hope someday you will have time for my custom TC4 chassis.

Default Pro4 Setup

Does anyone have a setup for a BMI pro4 for medium bite asphalt using foams?

Thanks

The wait for the chassis was well worth it. Excellent work Jason!

My initial thoughts after looking at your pics and the setup you described:

I'd suggest leaning in your front shocks one or two more holes, where they are slightly more layed down than the rears. I haven't heard of a yellow/black spring, but I assume you are using HPI's progressive rate springs. If so, try running Red springs with more dampening (either 65-70wt oil or 2 fewer holes in piston) up front & white springs in rear as well.

I happen to have access to a friends Pro 4 that is pretty well sorted out and I'll see what he has for the setup and let you know.

Thanks, but i was fortunate to get a help from a local racer, it seems like this setup is perfect for carpet, ashalt.

Built my first BMI equipped MI2 this week. Excellant quality and craftmanship. We'll see how it works at the Tamiya America race track this weekend for the KO Race.
