Thank you for the reply..

Its the same set-up Barry ran in the Reedy last year( C set-up on Ae site), cept I`m been using the one-way unstead of the spool....

Our track is`nt quite as smooth as Tamiya, but the traction is very comparable....
This is gona be my day vue with the BMI ! Only wish to make a good show & all...

I assume put all the weight in, and in the same place ?

Thanks Wild (geo)

My TC3 is currently a clone of Baker's Reedy '03 setup minus the spool. Just don't have one.

The setup is a great baseline for almost any track that I have raced at with the car. The track that we will be racing on this weekend is extremely high bite, so I went up to red(front)/gold(rear) springs to control the chassis roll. The setup tends to let the car roll too much on high bite.

Good luck!

Tim

Jason...

Do you plan on making TC3 or TC4 chassis that are cut for the 3700-3800 cells?

thanks

Jason,

just a quick question i own a BMI12L4(love it by the way ) and noticed the battery strap(tape) areas are machined could this be done on a FK04 chassis along with the slots for the tape(meaning keep the post holes but give a slot for tape)...would this be an idea or would it weaken the chassis?...im soon to get a BMI FK04 (hopefully friday...thanks PMLRC )...and was wondering if this could be done to a existing chassis (if sent back of course....not that theres anything wrong with it...just was looking for more options...Tape vs Strap) im sure to run the BMI chassis(and i know ill be happy with it) but theres always a question i have(sorry i get these brain farts once in awhile ) im always trying to come up with ideas and thought ide share this one with the BMI guys ...anyway thanks for your time

Hey. Take your time. (anticipation is killing me though )

I may have missed this info in the thread, but do you have any word on the kit contents and pricing for the whole kit and/or individual pieces? Budgeting minds (affecting negotiations with significant others) want to know.

the fk05 kit is going to consist of the chassis, top deck, shock towers, battery strap,4 long standoffs, and 2 battery standoffs.im not sure if i will include a motor guard yet unless i feel it is necesary.the kit is going to run between 139.99 and 159.99.i really need to do the actual figures before setting the price but this will be in the ballpark.i will be going into production within the next 2 weeks.

ProTC3,

The first leg of the Michigan Onroad Racing League was Sunday and I decided that since it is rubber tire and high bite, I ran old faithful. The TC3 never faltered and I took TQ and 1st place in the A in stock rubber tire. The car is working great and all I heard from the crowd is "that's a tc3?" During the 3rd qualifier and the main, the pits cleared and everyone was out there to watch the show.

2 more races to go. The car is working so good it makes me think twice about running the xray in vegas.

Tim
