I too have to scratch my head on the issue some had with regards to batteries coming out. Several weeks ago I was at the track with a few friends running hot laps and just practicing passing moves and holdoffs. There were a couple other folks practicing on the track with us. At one point a buddy t-boned me hard enough to send me over the rail into the last section of the straightaway and of course one of the mod guys was out there and hit my car on the battery side so hard I thought my car and his was definitely in for major repairs. The long walk out showed that I only had suffered one battery bar ripped free of it's mount, a cracked c-hub and two punctures to the body where his car had cleanly punched through to hit the battery bar and front axle. The hit was so hard my car flew up about five feet into the air and his tumbled into the wall; the other car was a stock TC3 and only mangled the nose of his body. After replacing the c-hub I tossed the car on the setup station and it was still dead on, I was very pleased and hope I never see that kind of hit again.

I took a few hard hits this past weekend with my car as well...but none that hard!! But your right I had no problems with my batteries and after each run when I would put my car on the tweak board it would be perfect everytime!! Could never do that with the stock chassis!!

Great job Jason!!

Mostly my pride, the poor mod guy had no idea I had been punted over the rail into his lane and was rightfully not too pleased about the whole thing. We were both extremely surprised nothing major was broken and that my credit card got to stay in the wallet a bit longer

its funny, people always refer to these cars as toy cars.when its time to repair them, your wallet can never seem to agree

Yes, we have a race this Friday night on the rug. Not too sure it is going to be opened following Christmas and not too sure I will have the energy any way. The BMI is dialed and only needs cleaning so it is good to go.
