Thumbs up TC4 WOW

Took my new TC4 for a practice run on saturday. All I can say is that this car is on Rails. I didnt think anything could get close to my TC3 in handling but I was definately mistaken.

Thanks Jason for making another GREAT!!!! Car.

Unfortunately our Sunday race was Rained out but ill get them in two weeks time.

rs911:
the battery slots are beveled and the batteries fit nice and tight (just like the car on the track). these babies arent going anywhere

AUTOMD:
just add shims (similar to the ones used on your cvd's) under the steering rack to take up the extra space, or make the steeing posts shorter

I used the stock chassis setup but changed the following

Front one way
shorter wheel base on the front
red front springs
blue rear spings

here is a picture of the car

I've heard that the TC4 is much better if you put the TC3 rack in the car. Has anybody tried this with the BMI chassis ?
Thanks.

Default ROAR Nats Results

Hi guys,

Just figured I would post some info for everyone.

This past weekend I attended the ROAR Indoor Carpet Nats. Thanks to Jay @ BMI, I had my BMI TC4 ready to go. A lot of people checked the car out. Everyone I talk to always has negative things to say about the TC4, but when they saw the BMI chassis, they changed their ways.

Now onto some good stuff. The car was stupid fast all weekend long. I easily had the car fast enough to TQ, I just didn't get a clean run. On my last qualifier, I laid down the 2nd fastest run of the weekend only .15 seconds slower than Peter Robinson. I ended up qualifying in 7th spot for the A. As for the mains, those were just a mess. I think I ended up finishing 6th overall for touring stock.

I would say not a bad weekend at all. I only had the car for 3 weeks and it is already up to par. I love it.

Thanks for the chassis Jay. I'll try to call ya when I get the chance. I have to catch up with work now.

Later guys,

Jason Schreffler

funny guys

rs911,
i would try lowering your rear camberlinks on the rear tower by going to the lower inner position.also go 1 hole in on the shock on the rear tower.i would also try maybe 1 degree camber in the rear and 1 in front.and if you are running a 1 way up front, take it out and go to a spool.you can also try removing the center support.let me know how it goes

I heard a rumor that Jason is falling in love with 1/12 scale....
Using the "carpet" chassis on asphalt seemed to work fairly well.... who needs flex???
