Please excuse me if this has already been addressed. I am putting a TC4 together, I ordered the BMI upper deck for the tub chassis for outside, but now I am thinking about getting the complete chassis, because this thing is HEAVY. Has anyone compared the weight of the TC4 with the grahite chassis and the BMI car? Thanks

I weighed my graphite tub versus the identical car with the BMI full chassis and I measured the saved weigh at about 40-50 grams.

My AE graphite tub weighed in at approx 1498g and the BMI apporx 1450g

Hi Greg:

I know. I should have posted that too. old age is really setting in badly. other than radio problems Tim Stampers TC3 looked good also. even more interest in the B.M.I. TC3/Xray chassis.

I even had people asking about the 1 1/2th scale conversion.

Tim and Greg,

FOund out I had my c-hubs/hingepins on my TC3 all bound-up Sunday. Basically they were held in with a drop of CA on the arm and no set-screw in the caster block. When I rebuilt them and put set-screws in-the hingepin wouldnt rotate in the arm due to left over CA and not in the c-hub because of the set screw. I kind of had a brain fart and thought they would free up after afew laps around the track-NOT. Knd of explains my cars unwillingness to transition smoothly on the left section of the track.

Jason-any progress on my eTC3? I cannot stand to stare at that tub chassis any longer. lol
