I had this problem a while back. It ended up being my rear hubs were all the way forward. I moved them to the centre position (longer wheel base) and that sorted me out.

Move the rear wheels backwards to take some weight off them.

Hope this helps

front
yellow springs 70wt oil #2 pistons-- tried purple springsbut just made it 3 wheel bad.
f-0 with an f block-- tried -2deg. kick down
6deg castor block switched from 4--helped a little
rear shock tower on front shock on in side hole out side on arm-- tried inside on arm but made steering inconsistent
.05 sway bar --nitro steering rack turned around also tried slide rack--upper link on tower up and to inside.
4mm ride height 1mm actual drop
back
copper springs 70wt oil #2 pistons-- tried 60wt before
shocks mounted on the outside on tower and arm.
r block with 2-0 block--- had f block with 2-2 Block seemed to help a little--- losi .5 rear hubs mounted normal way ball stud on outside and on outside top on tower. hubs forward
4.5mm ride height 3mm droop

batteries forward-parma alfa body-purple plaids on front purples on rear, have ran dbl pink and dbl pink orange before but was wearing them out fast in 19t and car acted the same.

hope i didn't forget anything. thanks you for any advice you can give. keith
Ray has a good starting point. I PM'd you my setup that I used on Tuesday at a very technical track. The car transitioned in the tight stuff better than anyone else's car there that night.

Good Luck.

Yup, we're staying at the Comfort Inn in Okemos.

It's the only one on the list that Nick posted that had a room. 10 minutes from the track right off of 96.

Anyone have a good starting set-up for a BMI TC4?
The track is high traction Ozite carpet, pretty tight. Running parma tires margenta and Cryan.

Mr. UPS Man just dropped off a nice pretty BMi2 for me. This is a sweet looking chassis. I really like the pre beveled battery slots. That'll save me a bunch of work tonight. Now I just need all my other parts to come in so I can get this thing built and do some testing.

I'm scared now.

I'm too restless when I sleep. I'd probably punt Bob right off the bed. He is a little guy. I don't care if you crash in my room though. Sleeping arrangements can be made we get there.

is anyone using 2400 cells in their Xray 350 chassis? i was planning on using some for a club race but they seem to be a very tight fit. is there a way to remedy this, other than buying 3300s?

thanks for all of your help guys. i'll definitely have some things to try in practice. i have tried moving the carriers back before and it did seem to help until traction started to come up in the track and then it went away. it seems that the car turns decent until traction comes up and then it goes away. ray, i have tryed putting roll in the car in stock before, but in 19t i have a problem getting the car to slow fast enough when going from a fast section to a tight corner so i thought drag brake might help--even though i haven't been able to figure out how to do it on my gt7. i just rebuilt my diffs a week ago but i think my rear diff does feel slightly gummy. what causes this? thanks again for your help, and i'll let you know what i figure out.

Be sure to post pics and let us know how it is when it's done. I'm starting to like that car, but I've got the TC4 pretty dialed now so I don't think you'll see a BMi2 in my pits anytime soon.

Is there a plan to update the Xray shock towers??? I recently bought a pair and realized that the rear one is wider than the original T1FK (new holes needed on the shell) and the front does not have the additional holes for short upper link.
I can't use those (I should buy new turnbuckles for front and new shell for rear - too much investment)- somebody interested in buying them?
