Don't try to glean anything from the setup...it's not setup yet for that upper deck. I'm going to try to get it working this weekend.

TimXLB- Racing went well..at leat qualifying did! LOL!! I tq'd every round in stock and was TQ thru 2 rounds in 19 turn..ended up second in stock in the main and 5th in 19 turn. The car was awesome as was Jason's. I wrenched on his car a bit and I think he is in love with the Xray again!! LOL!!

Will do some more testing this week and report back to Jason and see from there....

Hiya,

Quick question....

Will the production BMI TC4 chassis have the vents and holes cut for the Fan Duct kit?

Just noticed the prototype pics don't have it cut out.

Cheers

Andy

BMI chassis were all over this race. Excellent showing from stock to 19 turn to mod touring. In mod A /B mains there were at least 6 in those classes. Great job by all who ran this weekend.

With the BMI chassis being more open, the extra holes for the duct kit likely weren't required?

i didnt feel that the duct fan set up on the tc4 was an optimal set up for a fan being that the holes in the bottom would create a venturi effect and pull air away from the fan instead of pushing air through the duct which would actually take away from the fans.im sure it works fine but i just would rather mount fans right by the endbell.it seems to be more effective.
