ProTC3: Nice chassis setup. I am interested in purchasing a black chassis for my TC3, and as mentioned by others before, not having the servo/speedo area removed. I see you mentioned earlier that you take special orders like this. Does that still stand? I have a few other ideas too that i would like to discuss with you, but not necessarily on this thread. Would e-mail be preferred? Thanks for your help.

Default NTC3 Steering Rack

Hey guys,
Is there a kit that that comes with the whole NTC3 steering rack or do you have to purchase all the parts individually? If you do have to buy them individually, could someone please tell me the part(s) numbers?

Why would I want to put one anyways?

(Sorry so many questions, i'm kinda new to racing!)

Thanks

Default NTC3 Steering Rack

I run the K-factory aluminum steering rack assembly. It's easier to maintain. It can be removed with just two screws. Also, it is generally considered to be lower maintenance since it is more of a "sealed" unit. I am running all bearings in mine, with no bushings. The standard setup I believe has one bushing and one bearing on each side. I went to the LHS and found bearins to replace the bushings so I have two bearing on both sides. It is extremely free and should remaing that way. The standard rack seems to require a lot of cleaning, especially on carpet. I have also has small pebbles get caught in the standard setup. I should quit trying offroad. Hope all this helps. If you want to see the parts and numbers, follow thins link: http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca...awing_ntc3.pdf

Good luck,
John

Hooah, Yeah Baby. It looks like a nerve was struck and a rat was flushed outta the wood work. Would Mr. Roy Dallier please, come on down. For everyone who doesn't know. I am just starting and really am bad at driving. Roy on the other hand is one of the more knowledgable and experienced drivers we have. It's truly a pleasure to get to spend time around him and soak up the knowledge and professionalism.

Hope to c ya tonite pal,
John
