F1fan,
Think about something before you go with the TC4. Should one really have to go through all of those steps to get the slop out of a new kit manufactured in today’s technology advanced world. Jason's chassis would help with the flex but when Dave can't get the thing fast...

I have a BMI x-ray and would recommend it to anyone!!

Plus if you quit letting go of the wheel after corners maybe you could drive the car you've got.

Thats awesome if the Tc4 is 2.5mm and is stiff as a brick!! Really is. I am sure-like all side by side battery cars-ballast is key to a balanced car and if the cars 2.5 all around-its probably going to be 1.5 to2.5 oz underweight. Now you can load up the right side with lead and play with front and rear weight bias for optimum handling on carpet or asphalt. cool.

I took the B-Mi-2 to the track today getting ready for the Midwest Touring Series tomorrow. What a ride. It won't stop getting faster.

Joe B,
To me the hobby is set up, tuning, and the competition, not fixing the manufactures flaws. I spent the last nine years of my life in the military fixing equipment manufactures flaws just to make them good enough to use (way to go "lowest bidder"). I see your point but I can get your hobby at work. At Cleveland I heard the Associated drivers already had prototype parts on their TC4s. What does that tell you?

But this is a BMI thread. If you want to debate the TC4 we can do it in another thread.

Is there a newer X-ray chassis than the one I got in January of this year? I know the one I have has the batteries moved but I am not sure what else. I do not have time to read through the entire forum to find the answer, so sorry to repost a question.

I have pictures posted at the link below if it helps to determine which I have:
