Ummm....... O.K.
Tim ran one of three of the first protos. Tim did not run the latest revision at the regionals. Jason will ultimately decide what gets done with all the input.

Hey all,

For those few people who are thinking of trying my set-up posted a few pages back-I think some small chnages will be needed for low/med bite.

Front
Go to 1.5 camber in front and Lt. purple spring if it pushes. if it still pushes on exit-lean in shocks one hole.

Rear
Go to 2.5 camber in rear.

My reduced camber settinsg I ran at the Champs was to free up the car in small ways. But on low grip-I thin the cars gonna slide around.

you can get either chassis. There have been running changes on both. only jason and some of the team drivers can tell you about anything new coming.

The 350 chassis is great for all forms (stock, mod, 19t) The way I understand it the split chassis puts a little too much weight forward for stock. so for a good all around chassis the most bang for you buck is the 350.

the bmi xray chassis will work on any of the evo bulkheads and also the racer.

XDriver-Through our testing we have come to the conclusion thatthe BMI .350 chassis is a better "all around" chassis. Meaning, equally impressive performance on asphalt and carpet.

The Split cell chassis actually put s a little too much weight forward for MODIFIED asphalt racing. This causes additional weight on the front tires and causes them to overheat.

Stick with the .350 chassis and you will be ver, very happy with the performance and the quality BMI products.

If there is anything else I can answer for you please do not hesitate to post.

Thanks,

Xdriver:

Hi,

you will want the 350 chassis . it's more stable on most tracks running foams I don't know about running rubber tires on carpet as we only run foams. The split chassis is good for mod. it is a little harder to set up than the 350. we run the 350 chassis and really like it. after only 3 weeks af running on a low grip track it took very small adjustments to place 13th overall at Cleveland.
and it is the standard chassis B.M.I. sells. ther is a .160 chassis for those who need a little more space for electronics. one of these chassis placed 5th at Cleveland in stock. either one of these chassis will work well most everywhere.
If you have anymore questions please let me know.

Thanks

I had a chance tonight to run the B-Mi-2 on the carpet tonight. No need to tell ya all how it went. It is after all a BMI so the results are as always IMPRESSIVE. Putting the car on the scales for the first time made my jaw drop. Jason is a bad man.
