Hey all,

I have had a few guys ask for my Champs set-up on the BMI Xray 350. To be totally honest-I set the car up to be easy to drive. I had a set-up on it that had a lot more steering, was faster corner speed-but had WAY too much on-power steering for me. SO I went to a set-up that was closer to something I tried at the gate on Monday. I think the set-up can be a good base set-up for most Ozite tracks. I gave this set-up to my roomate and he set BQ and won the B-main flag to flag-but said car felt lazy.

Front
3-degree caster, mid roll, 1mm sway bar.
Purple spring, 2-holes open-40 wt hudy, shocks stood straight up on BMI shock tower (Very vertical).
Camber link short-down and 1mm shim under ballstud on caster block.
4.5mm ride height, 0-droop gauge.
1.25-degree camber.
Parma Cyan 2.17" sauced 1/8" from orange w/ Paragon.

Rear
Long wheelbase, mid roll.
Blue spring, 4-holes open-40 wt. hudy, leaned into third hole on BMI shock tower.
Camber link inside hole on aluminum hub-raised 3mm. On the bulkhead inside.
4.5mm ride height, 4 on droop gauge.
1mm shim per side for toe in. 1.5 deg camber.
Parma Magenta 2.17"

Parma Alfa body-stock wing. I charged my SMC 3506 stk packs at 6 amps and repeaked at 6 amps. on a Pulsar. No comm drops, just Reedy767, purple pos and red negative. I saw a lot higher numbers than my motor on the Robi in my room, but my motors ran fine on the track. 1.00 rollout.

Thanks. When I can drive as well as Eli-then well have a real battle at the Champs!!!

OH-yeah-steering extensions on the steering knuckles. I GOT to run those.
Really keeps steering smooth.

OH-and alo-if you have any questions on the set-up and why what is what-just ask. I'll make up an answer with some big words and try and sound like Seaball for ya j/k
