Took me all night to figure out how to set up the battery packs to get them in and out of the car but I think I got it. Have a few more parts to add to the car and then I will post some pics later. Great job Jason. BTW you have any stickers forsale.
Pics?

Thanks

hey-I resemble that comment!! My BMI Tc3 is still around-in fact I know who owns it and who last drove it. That was one fast and good handling car. Not a bit of slop in any suspension piece and a super free drivetrain-that was meshed pretty tight too. I loved that car-why did I sell it?!?!?!@?!?*

But-in my sorry defense-I have been driving the BMI Xrays for a long time now. At least 8 months-thats long isnt it??

BTW-Lynn-did my shells show up yesterday?

Man, there's going to be too many BMI Xray's at DC for the ORL. I won't have any advantage there anymore.

I remember last year, I was the only one. It made me feel special....darn you Jason for getting so popular. LOL

Jason,

Holy cow!! The BMI Xray looks killer. I installed it tonight. The rear droop settings feel rock solid now!! I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Thank you for the super fast shpping-now I get to test this car for a few days pre-champs!!

How close are we to having the B-Mi-2 done. I just bought a used Mi2 and it just seems wrong having a P-Dub chassis on my car. Plus whenever I look at that crusty rear body mount all I want to do is take it off and smash it with a hammer.

Default BMI Xray

Hey all,

I drilled new holes in my arms for wider droop screws. MY rear droop is rock solid now. Very nice for setting uptravel with wheels on. Jason said this will be a running chnage on the BMI XRays now so if you want to do this mod too-its stupid easy to do. I actually spaced the new holes too far out-but it is perfectly fine. I left the original droop screws in to retain rigidity in the arm since the two holes were right next to each other.

I dont know-he might have already run all the chassis before getting to this one. After he cut this one he liked it nad said this will be a running change.

Yang-if you get this one-keep the new set screw as close to the original as possible.
Within 1mm sould do it. As you can see I was more like 1.5 to 2mm away.

Ray,

see that you are runnign blue springs in the rear. So with the split chassis how has your setup changed from the 350?

The rear spring is in a state of flux. Its varies from Blue to dk. blue to violet-I have not settled on whats best yet.

Set-up is the same in back, but stiffer spring/oil/sway bar up front. Keeps front from digging in with all that extra weight up front. For sure what works on the 350 is not as fast on the Split. I have heard the split is better in mod than stock. But I am happy with it in stock now too.
