Does anyone have a picture of a X-Ray split chassis with the batteries installed? I ordered a chassis today and trying to figure out how I'm going to have to change my battery pack configuration.

Keith-heres two options-sorry no pics!! Assume looking at chassii from BACK.

1) jumper wire on left goes stright up and over the top deck. As it goes to the batteries on right-it goes parralell with the ground and is attched to the batteries. So its crazy loopy. Its the only way to keep it off the belt-and yu'll need a lot of wire.

Option2)

Put a battery bar on the right set of batteries. The battery bar is not Up and Down, but parrallel with ground again and attach your jumper to this.

My car is set-up with positive left front and negative right rear.

My batteries are option 1, but I am going to chnage them all to option 2 over the next week or so. No chnace of getting into belts and shorter jumper.

Thanks Ray. I'll figure it out. I need to come up with a configuration that I can use with my Novak Smart Tray. It will be easier when I have the chassis in my hands.

I just found pictures of Josh Cyrul's car at the carpet Nats. So, I don't need pictures of a X-Ray split chassis. Thanks anyways.

My attached picture in my last post was how I had the batteries configured when I ran the split-cell chassis.

I have mine in my smart tray lke this. Pain in the butt, ut it discharges. You have to have one set up and the other set of batteries is upside dwon int the tray and the jumper is all twisted.

Geeez-makes me think maybe I'll g back to a 350 chassis.....
