Default FSEARA Update

Ok, yesterday was the 9th and final race of the 2004 Florida State Series, held at RPM Speedway in Cassleberry. There were several BMI drivers competing and all did well.
Lynn(TC3) and Tony Munno (X-Ray) (lmunno and tmunno, aka my parents) finished 3rd and 6th in Novice Touring.
Steve Pessel finished 4th in the B of stock touring with his BMI X-Ray.
Mike "Butter" Abraira (X-Ray) TQ'd and won the A-Main of Stock Touring, Tim Kowal (X- Ray) finished 6th, I finished 7th (TC3), and Curtis Book finished 9th (TC3).
Tim Potter finished 6th in the A-Main of 19 turn and TQ'd and won mod TC. I finished 2nd.
There were only about 30 or so drivers there so we had a one day race and a bunch of guys came over to Speedline today to run. We had 13 in the mod class, including JOE B!! lol. He decided to run with the big dogs and made the A. I still had carpet on the brain, as I ended up 2nd in the B. My mom won the B in Sportsman, and Art Jensen won the B in mod.
It feels like the birds all over again but with less time in between runs. Congrats everyone!

This is Toni -
Yeah, he was and my parents said that he looked good out there. I didn't get to watch, as I kept ending up in races with him.

I gotta say, the first day of testing with the BMI2 was killer. My car was alot better than it has ever been. I could not put together 5 minates of mistake free laps, but I ran some pretty fast single laps. No one had cs27's, So I ran old tires all day. If I had some fresh rubber, It would have been scary good! There will have to be a few minor changes, but this thing is awesome right now. I just can't wait to get the towers Jason is planning on making. All in all, very productive day of testing, and it's two thumbs way up for day one of project BMI2. Tim Potter's car was good and he put his 7th in the A. He broke in the main, but had some excellent Qualifying times.

Joe B. I will get you next week!

Art, thanks for the help, we had a great day or racing @ Speedline. The B-mi-2 worked great, Like Art said , a couple tweeks and I think it will be perfect. The chassis and Top PLate are awesome pieces of workmanship. Cannot wait for the towers....

nice ETC3 conversion kit, i'll be ordering mine sometime before christmas. I was wondering if you could make an aluminum top shaft for a B4/T4 transmission, the stock steel one is mighty heavy for stock racing

Mike - Jason does make Xray CF shock towers and battery hold downs and they're sold seperate. He also makes a carbon fiber bumper brace. I've never seen Jason carry Red carbon fiber. Only black, titanium, gold, agua that I have seen. Call him when he gets back from vacation on what colors are available.
