Jrighter,

Nice clean setup on your car, my kind of mechanic, anal to a fault I notice you too are using the Nifftech diffs and outdrives, I must assume you love em too, they are so damn smooth it is scary. Since I run rubber on the carpet my suspension is quite a bit softer then yours in both oil and spring. Curious what the most efficient way to gain on power steering back would be? The car was so smooth I hate even thinking of changing anything and start that chase the tail routine

Rob,
You've got skills and as much as I'd love to run mod with ya... I don't feel like breaking my car.. LOL I seriously doubt I could do it. It will be fun to watch though!

Thanks! Actually those are Hardcore axles with MIP shiny shafts and Kimbrough pin savers installed. These are smooth as heck too. I'll have to check the Niftech diffs out. Little $$$ though. For myself I usually tighten up the front diff or shorten the camber links for more on power steering. I think every adjustment suites everyone a little differently.

Wannabe:

Did you make it to the Cleveland race????

I still have to get in touch with you about the motor/battery boxes and the other ones too. maybe this weekend I'll shoot you a e mail.

Jason:

I'm off to the hospital this am.... more stupid tests (getting old really sucks) then I will ship the chassis for you to look at. it will (hopefully) answer any questions I couldn't.

It was really nice talking with you late last night/ early am. I think I'll need a NexTell phone just so I can keep my wife happy (and my forman too!!!) he was l ooking for most of the time we were talking wanted me to work........ Too bad

Thanks

No not this year, I got the bright idea to run dirt for a couple months (waste of time) but now we are back on the rug and wished I woulda been there.

Anytime on the boxes just shoot me an email [email protected]

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

Thanks, I'll be racing tonight.

Going to see how it goes today, during practice, and maybe switch it to that setup before the race.

One thing I didn't see, could have missed it, is what top deck you are using... 3mm?

Thanks,
Dave

Default Setup Help Request

Ok guys, I'm a little new at this but here goes. I am using a setup that I beleive was posted by jrighter on page 11 of this thread. My front tires are wearing tapered. I am estimating it at about 1.5 degrees across the width of both front tires, with the inside edge being worn smaller in diameter (probably about .100 on the diameter). What steps do I want to take to correct this. My driving skills need some work so bear in mind that I am not the smoothest yet at rolling my corners. The car is handling pretty well and is getting close to being very drivable.

Thanks,
John
