Default BMI champion of New Zealands Winter Series

Well, I have just fininshed competeing in New Zealands premier winter racing series. ( Indoors on bumpy ashfelt. Very low grip) It is held over fours rounds of racing. One a month for four months. Each class has four races on each race day, so at the end of it each class had 16 races. All races count in the points and for each race the winner gets 10 points, 2nd 9 points etc. So you can score a max of 160 points for the series.

Well I managed to take out both touring modified and super touring( touring modified with Can Am/ Sports Car type body shells). The BMI ETC3 was faultless for all 4 rounds and was as the organiser put it at prize giving " in a class of it's own"

In Super touring I managed 158 points out of 160 (15 wins out of 16 races). The race I didn't win the tire came un glued. The guy who won last year was second more than 30 points behind me.

In touring Modified I won with a total of 149 points. The car was absolutely awsome in both classes.

I would like to thank Jason at BMI for providing me with such an awsome chassis.

Next stop, the worlds in Florida where I will be using BMI chassis in both 1/12th scale and Touring Cars. I hope to see you all there.

Darren

Midwest is good...no earthquakes or hurricanes. Of course we are a "battleground" state so you've got to put up with too much of both candidates

Fatbear congrats on your fantastic racing series. Nice job on showing the racing community what a awesome chassis the BMI TC3 really is.

Jason, Joe B., The Munnos and anybody else that is going thru this storm, is this anything that I can do feel free to contact me.

Thanks to all wishing us the best. I just hope that everyone in the state of Florida makes it thru this storm unhurt and without property damage. (especially all racing gear)

You can add Tri-State Champion to the list of BMI wins this year. We have a series between AL, GA, and TN each year and its usually 5 to 6 races at different locations. I took home 1st with my BMI TC3 in the 19 turn touring class for the series. In addition I TQ'd and took home our final round of the series.

BTW can't wait to get a hold of the BMI 12th scale!!! Looks awesome.

I TQ'd and won the 12th scale 19 turn at the Tri-State as well. Now if only I'd had a BMI 12th scale and I might have gone even faster

Default TC3 BMI chassis and TC4 motor mount

Hi guys,

I want to buy a BMI chassis for my TC3 but I have some questions. Are there pics of the current motor mount for the BMI TC3 chassis? And can we use the new TC4 engine mount on it?

Please let me know. I've been trying to find a chassis for my car on the trading forums of this site. I might just buy a brand new red one.

Please give me your feedback.

Eric.

Ray, I talked to Butter last night and a lot of the South Fla crew is ok. Here on the gulf coast we are still getting hit but nowhere as bad as the east coast got it. Still have power but that could change at any time Glad we own a generator. Will try to keep you informed.
