I had a whole day of practice on carpet with the 350 chassis yesterday and it was great. Many people tried the car and loved how it felt. It has shaved about 0.2 seconds off each lap going from the plastic chassis.

For anyone thinking about getting the chassis...don't hesitate...it's really a nice chassis!

Just want to get a general idea, how are you guys setting up differently with the BMI chassis vs. the stock chassis?

TIA!

I would guess setup is the same, but the car will feel more responsive and be a bit more "free" mid corner. I have yet to get the chassis kit, but I sure plan on it soon.

There is more aggressive steering. You have to compensate for this.

Yeah John it was good. Niel aggressive steering is an undertstatement. That thing is is wild the way it turns in...I didn't think it was possible to make an already great car that much better.

Actually the changes to car were small...droop in the rear, front shock angle, and front roll center (shims at camber link)....the biggest change was the way I drive the car. I didn't have to be as aggresive driving it as before.

There were some changes in my setup, nothing major though. Since the batts were more centralized, it did affect setup involving weight transfer.
