Ray I hear ya. I feel the same way right now. I only have my BMI stuff on the car and thats it. Everything else is stock and I feel the car don't really need anything now. The BMI chassis setup made my car alot stiffer and virtually no flex. Even on the loose asphalt I ran on this weekend the car was glued. My car was stuck alot better than everyone else and I even had a BMI 3mm toplate on mine.

My BMI Pro4 for is faster than my BMI TC3 and I think mainly because the Pro4 fits my driving style alot better. The BMI chassis on the Pro4 and my TC3 made vast improvements over the stock chassis setups. Also they look trick.

I'll tell you what. If you want some BMI stuff let me know what you want. I will get you a price. You can Paypal me the cost of material and shipping and I will send you the stuff. I race for Jason at BMI and I'm willing to help you out.

Brian.

Thanks John. You the man and your BMI Xray is killer looking. Even better looking in person.

Anyone looking for a trick toplate BMI has the new adjustable deck for the Xray. Should be out soon. Saw it on Johns car and it is very nice.

Default BMI Pro4

Hey guys, can anybody tell me what differences they have noticed from going from the Stock HPI chassis to the BMI?
I seem to be strugling with tweak on my stock chassis so I wonderd if the BMI solved this at all?
Cheers.

X2,

It fixes the tweak issue. I had a similar problem, but when I swapped all of the graphite out with BMI's it is now perfect. BMI's graphite is superior quality and having everything at 3mm helps tremendously. I highly recommend the conversion. I picked up a full lap.................

Is BMI planning to release an after market chassis for the Mi2? If so any ideas on a release date? Thanks-

IT might happen but not anytime soon. A Cuda chassis and Yoke SD chassis are the next ones on the burners for BMI. Maybe after that they will look at the Schumacher.

Jason must have a whole arsenal of cars because he has to do design from the original platform. Jason, what do you have in your collection now? TC3, NTC3, Xray, Pro 4, Yok SD, cudda.... It must be hell looking at all the cars to determine which one you want to race.

Just a quick update on my battery flying out issue. I reset my vehicle close to associated's recommended settings for carpet, with some changes I felt worked better on the track. I also ran some rubberized insulation on the length of the battery strap.

When I ran my care I had a few good hits, but the battery did NOT fly out or move for that matter.

Really great stuff. The Chassis is something else, I am really impressed. Only thing is its alittle tight with the brace when mounting my Reedy heatsink / fan, but other than that ( and I know it wasn't designed with that in mind ) it really hooks up.

Anyone interested in getting one of those heatsinks / fans, definitely get one, really nice unit!

For Rob to pick up a whole lap...that's an accomplishment. When you're that fast...

I ran John Righter's Pro4, it felt GREAT. Not good enough for me to ditch my XRay but it drove like the XRay in my opinion with the punch of the TC3.
