Well I got my BMI PRO4 put together today but I am still having a slight tweak problem. With the top deck loose the chassis sits flat on my setup board. But with the top deck tightened down I get a little tweak side to side.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something that i am doing wrong? Appreciate any and all help.

Thanks,

Tim,
There is a place in Houston Tx that does that but I cannot remember the name. It was down the street from the school I was in. They did cryo and the sonic table vibrating de-stressing thing. Sorry if thats too technical I forget what its called. Ill try to look in my school stuff and see if its in my notes tomorrow.

Crash,
Someone was having the same problem over on the Pro 4 thread. He thought it was the top plate but it turned out to be something else but I forgot what, something with the diff cases I think.

protc3 I ran my BMI Pro4 today. I TQ'ed mod but I broke a part in the 3rd round and didn't have the parts to race the main. Car was awesome all day and every heat I was faster and faster. Track started off very low traction and very dirty and as the day went on the track got better. Car was great all day.

Another great chassis setup from BMI. The new setup felt smoother overall and more precise. Seems like the batteries are moved in a 1 to 2 mm closer to the drive shaft but I could be wrong. If I would have only had parts. I hope HPI is working on this problem.

Speedie:

Hi,

That's not to technical. we do sonic testing at our shop as part of qualifing parts.
Thanks for looking up the address.
Iam thinking of sending my spare motor out to get it treated. our new motor was treated and it has show a major increase in HP,Torque. (well major for a KT100). along with our rear disk brake, and rear hubs.

RBLove:

Hi,

Hows the Pro 4 running??? I also have a couple of Q's for you also. please e mail me as I don't have your e mail addy.

Thanks

WYD:

glad you TQed sorry you broke hope HPI gets the parts problem fixed soon.

True R/C Racing:

Where are you running carpet??????? is RPM open ?????? if so say hi to Luis for us (Tim and Jason)

Thanks

I just got home from the track, TQ'ed and won both legs of the A in 19 turn for the first time. My bmi was on fire today, ripping everyone else up. Took TQ by 8 seconds and won the first leg of the final by 13.
I tried the NTC3 steering in the correct ackerman position today as well, it seemed to make all the difference.
Racing was in the wet today and my car gripped like no other out there, so if anyone is worried about getting a bmi wet - dont be!
