Nice. How about a picture of your car. I'm mainly interested in like the back and front mounting locations of the shocks with 28mm foams on. I would like to see how they mounted without rubbing stuff. Also another shot of the killer BMI setup you have if you can. I would really appreciate that. I have a new Pro4 coming this week and I notrmally only run 28mm foams on asphalt. I also will be getting another BMI chassis setup like I had on my TC3 but for my Pro4.

Thanks
Brian

Jason you been driving that Vette lately? Make any carbon fiber stuff for that yet?

Jason, Thanks a million for getting the chassis to me in such little time. The PRO 4 is 100% better with the chassis. Absolutely no tweak whatsoever. All shocks collars are even and the car feels like it's on rails with the new chassis. Awesome work as usual. I was actually about 2 laps faster! Had to break out the BMI TC3 for the last 2 qualifiers and the main though Rob's BMI PRO 4 is on fire! Car looks super smooth and is wicked fast. RB, it was a blast racing with ya this weekend. Too bad you got blasted It would have been a fun main. Jason, thanks again for everything.

RB was on fire but Righter was reeling him in like a madman! Maybe BMI could make something to improve turnmarshalling? RB got a raw deal on that one.

BMI cars looked GOOD! I think the top 3 or 4 cars out there were BMI.

RB, John, Norton-a bunch of us are buying the Pro4's here in OHio. I cannot wait to run mine. I think if we all stay with them-keep trying new set-ups-I cannot see how they cannot be as fast or faster than the TC3. Especially with how easy it is to change roll centers compared to the TC3.

So many great choices, BMI TC3, BMI Xray, BMI Pro4!!!

Righter definitely came out hard the first two laps. I should have never pulled over to race. I got pummeled Car got all beat up. John definitely ran good. I was impressed. The 18th will be the real test when we go to The Gate.... It's on John. It's on LOL!

The BMI Pro 4 conversion is a DRASTIC improvement. The car is much more rigid and responsive. All of the pieces and parts bolt up PERFECTLY. I definitely recommend this conversion if you are running the Pro 4.

I could get a hot lap or two of an 8.8 or so, but mainly 9's with the stock car. I got a single fastest lap of 8.33 and may have only ran one or two 9.0's the entire race and they were due to a mistake after switching to the BMI. It is a noticeable difference.

I think yesterday was just a fluke.. I'm sure I'll be way off the pace in Cleveland. Maybe I could trade ya some PRO 4 parts for a win?? LOL. I guess I better email Promatch for some new packs. They were strong but flattened out after that. That's what 9 month old packs will get ya. Can't complain though. See ya the 18th!

More info:

Changes I made to the car were more noticeable. I think this is because of the super stiff chassis. The car is not flexing and doing things you do not want it to do. This car is so much like a TC3. Has great rip, set up's are very similar, but the car is smoother. It is not as erratic. Do not get me wrong I am a HUUUUUUGE fan of the TC3. I am just happy that this car can perform and even out perform in some cases..........

WYD,

Aren't you Mike King's buddy from PA? I remember him talking about you before. Anyway, I will post my set up later and take some pics. The only thing I am doing with the 28mm foams is taking a little off of the inside of the rim. Just shaving a little of the thickness off. Not the overall width. The front does not need touched. I will take pics of the rim as well.

Protc3,

It's a winner. Night and day difference. More corner speed, more responsive, no flex, and looks DAMN GOOD to

Righter,

Get out of here dude. You were running good. Do not sell yourself short bro. Simply dialed! Your car had tons of power in that start. DAMN.

We'll have a good time in Cleveland. We do not have very many more carpet races before we hit the asphalt. I do plan to run on the rug a few times a month in the summer to work on modified racing. I would really like to hit modified hard next season. There are a lot of bad boys running modified.......
