That sounds interesting. It would bolt right on but Im not sure if the motor mount will clear you might have to notch out the top plate or drill a hole in it to reach the screws. Then there is the center brace for the BMi top plate that will need holes drilled for it as well. Pieces parts..... fused........

the upper plate will not fit on the warpspeed chassis due to the different style motor mount.with the clamp style motor mount, you need to remove the upper brace to take the motor out due to the verticle removal.other than that and the standoffs it would probably fit.

the clamp consists of 2 halfs.top is a button head washer that i machined fro 6061 aluminum and the bottom is the same but it has a boss milled into it which locates center and keeps the bottom plate from spinning.it slides freely through the slot in the upper brace with very little to no rotation.

this is how it works.the bottom piece is threaded and the top piece takes a flathead screw.you loosen the screw, adjust the clamp and the lock the screw.the screw will lock the 2 plates together.i did test it and it did increase flex the further forward you moved it.i made this one out of 2mm c/f due to my chassis being very stiff,it was the only way i could get it to flex.thanks guys.its going to get some track testing next weekend. i will let you know how it works out.i will also post a disassembled pic so you can get a better idea how it works.

Default Tis is sour grapes, but....

I'd say something about it on Xray thread-but then I'd have to hear again how Xray thought of everything first and dont even think about putting something on your Xray thats not made by Hudy---haruumph!

BTW-Jason-I will soon have the complete fleet of BMI electric conversions!! Xray, Tc3 and Pro4!!! hahaha!! I can start a dealership of BMI cars!!!
