Have to agree with Wyd and protc3, only have to glue edges. Cars is set to go pretty much when you open it.

protc3-- got mine this week, put together, tq and win first time out. Car handles much better, transitions thru corners better too. Thanks for a great product.

So Tim I would say you like that car don't you. Can't wait to take a look at yours. I very pleased with mine. I did just get some new milled TC3 cases so I'm hoping my car will free up some now. Just need to not be sick so I can work on it.

yea, it was better. Pretty much same as yours, wanted green , he does not have yet, so I got blue. Was also playing with the Reedy motor, it sucks on the dyno, but fast on the track. The guys said they were going to try to get JR to come next week.. Hopefully with you him and some others get some more close racing.

I might be out. Depends if I'm still sick or not. It was so nice this weekend and all I did was sleep and puke. Not too much fun. I have alot of new stuff to try on my TC3 so I would like to run it sometime in the near future.

Hope you feel better soon. that sounds like what I had......only it lasted over 3 weeks.I'm just now getting back to normal (well.as normal as I can be)

Fastasu2:

hope you like the B.M.I. TC3 chassis. so far we have been running ours since before Cleveland and we really like it on carpet in both stock and mod. (foams)

I posted a link to our homepage where I have posted some pics and instructions on what is needed to be done to run the Nitro steering rack in the lower holes on the chassis. only takes a few minutes and is worth the time and effort.

right now, I set it up with the nitro in the front holes. What is the advantage using the rear holes?

yea, but I used the front holes, only cause I was in a hurry to get it all together, And really did not have the time to do the mods necessary mods to run it in the back holes.

Cool I will have to check your setup out. I still run the stock steering rack.

Fastasu2:

Hi,

by doing the mods to the nitro rack for the lower holes you will the correct Ackerman when using the Losi "C" hubs and steering knuckles and the stock Associated parts. as for the feel of the rack when driving the TC3 on carpet the turn in was better with no push on any of the high speed turns. turn in is better and if you are always looking for more all around steering this will help. more info is post near the start of the thread. do a search for either Fakk2 or TimXLB.
I haven't run this on asphalt as we did this during the winter and we race Karts all summer long (no R/C tracks close enough that race on Sundays.my only day off work when I'm lucky).
if you have any questions please e mail TimXLB
at [email protected][/email]

he will answer any questions by e mail or phone.

wyd:

I hope that is what you had as whatever is going around here is really NASTY...... Both Tim and Jason (his son) were off school/work for 2 to 3 weeks and Tim is just getting back up to speed.
hope you feel better soon!!!

hey all,

Had a fun week. I started 1st in the E-main and popped the first turn-got back in third and had a fun race with Charlie from Novak!!! he tapped-I hit him and we got caught by my buddy Jason. Its too bad as we had just caught the leader (one turn away). Jason barely tapped my bumper-and it folded my body in!!! Bummer-fell from second to 7th or 8th. But I was all smiles at the end.
