Default The other car

I have to say I'm not convinced the chassis on rwdesigns will work. The placement of the receiver, esc and servo just isnt practical.

Your going to end up with cables all over the place and end up risking getting them tangled up in the drive train, not to mention that most servo cables probably wouldnt reach the receiver unit without extending them.

I wouldnt worry too much I cant see it being competitive, he is getting them machined by a third party, I wouldnt have thought he would be able to compete with your price.

Currently the cost of your chassis is $109.99 that is approximately 60 pounds over here in the UK. If I were to buy the stock chassis over here it would cost me 40 pounds.

Which would you choose?

The other tc3 chassis is clearly copied, the battery slots, the upper deck, the standoffs. The only thing different is the motor mount and the placement of the batteries. And plus, who is willing to resolder all their batteries in 4-2 just for one car? Most people have saddle packs, and if they use those, the car is way off balance, more than the stock chassis.

Im asking this question on behalf of a friend.
'I have a BMI Chassis (titanium colour) and have fitted the Nitro steering arms using the front pair of mounting holes.
I next pair back are for the sliding arms. But I have another pair of holes, the same distance apart as the front pair. I have tried to fit the swing arms using these holes but the servo saver hits the rear of the gear casing. What is this rear pair of holes is for?'
Any ideas guys?

as for the issues with the steering rack holes,i am going to look into this and take care of it.there are a total of 3 steering rack mounting positions on the chassis.1st set is closest to the tranny, that is option 1 nitro rack holes, the set right behind them going toward the rear of the chassis is for the standard etc3 rack, the set furthest to the rear that are in line with the front set of nitro rack holes is the new position.i will put the rack on my car to see what the problem is.i will resolve this and either fix your chassis for who ever has problems with it or tell you where to put the holes.thanks guys and thank you tim for helping out.

jason
Hey jason did you ever figure out what the problem was with the fitment of the nitro rack for those of us who are having problems with it thanks Jermaine

Phil C those holes are also for the nitro rack. The rack gets flipped around and mounted there to correct the ackerman angles. The case needs to be modified and I believe shorter ball studs need to be used also. I havent tried the nitro rack yet But a few guys have and posted pics and such previously in the thread.
