I am happy to report. Something we all know already. The BMI chassis is great. It's a drastic difference between the BMI and my old Flexy Flyer stock tub. Corner speed is so dramaticly different I have to completely change my driving style. I had to drive like a wildman before to get the car to have any forward bite from center off. Now on a corner where I needed a little brake before to corner decent, Now I have to keep the thorttle on or the car loosens up like I was trying to do a power slide. Its gonna take a few laps to get fast but the potential for serious speed is there now. Thanks Jason...

The BMI stuff is a work of art. It also hapens to not only look great but work just as well. I run carpet and asphalt with mine and it works great on both. I use the 3mm toplate for carpet and the 2mm toplate for asphalt. This car is super stuff with the 3mm plate on it.

Here is my idea on how to dress up the upper brace. It looks better in person than in this pic. The dark color would look great on a blue chassis. Ill use a lighter color on the 3mm deck thats on the car. I just used Testors model paint to color the epoxy. The trick to do it easy was to mix a batch for every letter and do them one at a time

For the motor I found some 3mm philips stainless screws at the hardware store that fit inside the slot perfectly. I dont really like the motor mount that much. The cam was easier and quicker but you couldnt do something like that with the upper deck how it is. Im sure once I get used to it Ill like it. I CA'd and polished all edges on everything. including the chassis cutouts and battery slots.

Just get an xray and you won't have to worry about the motor mount!

Sorry, couldn't resist that - I used to own a TC3 and think they are fine cars. Personal preference to move to the xray, no motor torque to worry about.

Thats ok. The Xray is a great car also. But I never had any motor torque anyhow. Not even with the stock tub. Is it cuz I run stock only?
