Yeah, that pic was cut out low! First time i put it on the carpet track it went about 2 feet and stopped cause it was dragging on the carpet. Had to trim 1/8th of an inch off the whole thing but after that it was running sweet! I need to get ahold of a green antenna tube to match the body now, but there is blue in the paint job so it somewhat matches.

How do you guys, the consumer/racers, like the step it up program that is in effect by Fukuyama Racing? Does it meet your expectations? Give us your thoughts.

Also, stay tuned for the winners of the raffle.. This drawing will include customers who purchase our packs since August 01, 2003 to the end of Oct. 31, 2003. You will automatic enter the drawing for EACH BATTERY PACK you purchase. The more packs you purchase the higher chance to win these incredible 1.18 packs. Drawing will be held on NOV. 02, 2003.

It could be you getting that sweet 1.18 pack

Wink Special Deal Ends

Just to let you guys know, this "Step Up" program will end at the end of this month. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the step up to 1.175~1.179s simply because there just aren't enough to go around. These cells are only 20% of what we get and most times, racers would email us and pre order these so by the time they are done and labeled, they're out the door and into the Fedex trucks.

We have done a great deal of passing on the savings to our fellow racers and supporters. Considering just the free shipping alone is worthwhile and runs us anywhere to $6~$12 depending on the location. That is $6~$12 less then what you would pay on top of the Super low prices we're offering. Then, there is the all time lowest price for our racers and add the upgrades, we're really not even making money of some of these lower priced cells. But again, as a racer myself, we want to extend this to all the racers so they can feel the differences and still afford a great pack of batteries. I would say on the average a racer will save between $20~$50 dollars per order. Some even more so PLEASE DON'T LET THIS DEAL PASS! It won't be this deal ever again.

Now back to bed..

Happy Racing

Jimmy,
If I could afford it, I'd be ordering another four pack this week. I think what you guys have done is awesome. You have made a long time customer in me and when it's time for some new packs, I'll be calling you guys.

Default Please excuse my ignorance

Questions from a battery noob.

I have 4 good packs that I currently run (I have more, but only 4 for the use of this comparrison). I have the following:

(2) 1.17-1.18V Integy 2400 NiCad packs (20 amps)
(2) Fukuyama 1.163 GP3300 packs

Now, when I charge up my packs, I charge them all at 5 linear amps (my chargers max), and I watch the pack's voltage output as it reaches its peak. Help me understand this please

Both of my Integy packs will top out somewhere around 10.7 - 10.9 volts for the pack, and both of my Fukuyama packs will top out around 9.8 or 9.9 volts. (i forget the exact numbers, but close enough)

When I run these packs, the NiCad 2400s definitly have more punch then my gp3300s. Experts please help me understand as I am pretty sure I am missing something!

Thanks

John and Jimmy-

I'm amazingly happy with the SIU promotion. I only wish it'd been running when I got my first 3 packs last month

I ordered another 2 this weekend, and can't wait to get them. The cells you guys turn out are amazing. I just wish I could afford to buy more.

What charger are you using and what voltage threshold do you set it for? 9.8 v is very high for Fukuyama Cells. That means that it has very high IR which I know they don't.

Im still working on that! I just bought my integy 16x7v6, which I should be able to set. The charger I have been using, you cant set it. I basically charge it up, and as soon as I see the voltage increase stop, I pull it off the charger. I definitly pull it off before the voltage starts to DEcrease...
