Yes, Fukuyama is looking for new team drivers as Dan posted a little earlier. Send in your resume if you're interested in driving for one of the best matchers around.

Hey Guys... I picked up a Novak Millenium (Not the Pro) for a buddy... is it safe to charge NiMh with it?? What settings do you guys recommend for the Fukuyama cells??

Thanks!!

I haven't had a Novak charger since the Digipeak days. Does it have the NiMh2 mode on it? I think that's how they determine the delta peak on their chargers but I'm not too sure. If you can set the charge rate, you should charge between 5-6 amps. I'm not sure how to set the delta peak though. Anyone else use this charger before that can add a little info?

Give Dan a call at the office to see what he's got in stock and how much it'll be. The website still isn't updated yet.

AZ-ron,

I have that charger as my back up, and you can set the peak detect like any other. 8 mv per cell or 50 mv for the pack (6 cell). The problem with them is they false peak a lot. Watch the charger for the first 5 minutes. If it says the battery is done and it isn't warm, just start the charge again. NICAD linear works best for me.

From what I know, we're still waiting on the decision to make the new cells legal for competition. As far as I know, Fukuyama will have 3700's. But Dan has decided to wait to match and sell them until they can be run at big races where they're legal.
