Now I've had the completely opposite experience, granted it's with 6 cell packs ...I cycle my packs once a month on my CE just so I can "rank them" in terms of which onces to use for practice, heat1, heat2, heat3, main ..stock vs 19T. Anyways I was getting cell from "matcher X" ..and those cells were definitely good awesome cells, but they would start to drop off in runtime & punch after about 2 or 3 months ...the Fukuyama cells have held their numbers for the same 2-3 and beyond months for me, to the point where I have now replaced all but 1 of my packs with them, I now have 11 Fukuyama packs.

I have a 2 whole boxes full of the yellow label and green cells hehe, I started that collection awhile ago. my packs from August are still what they read on the label with a sacrifice of 10 seconds of runtime.

I suggest that you follow Fukuyama's tips for charging/discharging and what to do if they rest. Visit http://www.fukuyamaracing.com/techinfo.html

I'm sure if you follow what is outlined you'll find out the packs are not "Flat" or "dead" cause they were over cycled at the factory.
I have heard the same, but what i notice is if you have the packs
sitting around for a while you need to run them a few times to get them back up to spec, i had a few packs sitting around for about 8 months and the packs would not take the charge, what i did was zapp the packs and they came back to life, now i use these packs for practice.

I have 5 packs of the 1.18+HQ cells and every time i run them they just seem to get faster and faster!

I charge them on the Pro-Track at 6amps 50mv cut off run them with anything from a 7x1 on.When ive done my 5mins discharge them at 30amps and put them on a LRP tray not taking them off till the next time i run them! The packs are just getting better and better.

I have 15 packs off Fukuyama cells and some are over a year old and they are still very fast with good run time.

Anyone who has had problams with them cant have looked after them 100%

Stephen,

How are you taking care of the cells to have only lost 10 secs. of run time....That is great....Let me know.
