Default Northwest Carpet Championships

Hey guys,

Last weekend was the Northwest Carpet Championships at Stockton R/C Raceway. The race format is open practice on Friday, then a full race program with mains on sat, and another on Sunday. You accumulate points based on your finishing positions both days to determine the overall winners.

I ran 12th scale stock and modified. In stock I finished second on Sat and won the race on Sunday to win the overall championship for the second year in a row!!

In mod I finished third on Sat. and TQed and finished second on Sun. This put me in second place overall behind local fast guy Lex Tyler (Factory AE/Reedy).

My Fukuyama cells ran great! In stock I was running 8 month old sedan packs that I converted to 4 cell and they still had awesome power and runtime to spare.

Big thanks to Daniel and Fukuyama racing for providing such great batteries, I can't wait to try the new HQ cells! Also thanks to Art Davenport (Advil) for tuning me a KILLER stock motor!

-James

It'd be best to give them a call during business hours to have them check stock.

Dan, glad to hear from you. Hope all went well over the holidays. Having a new born makes for a busy schedule. We are getting ready for the fseara series (starts in two weeks) and also the girls are running the snowbirds in Feb. Just not enough hours in the day. Hope to see you down here at the birds or the on road nats.

At this current time no, Fukuyama will not match GP3700's. Rest assured though that testing will be done on them and if they're found acceptable to market it will come from the mouth of Daniel. Right now he has enough on his plate to keep up with the demand of his customers for GP3300 HQ cells!!!

Thanks for the reply,It just seems that the GP3700 are going to be the way to go over here in the Uk this season now the BRCA have opened the motor limit. Ive already got the your HQ cells and think they are great but i am just looking at my options before the start of the season.

Many Thanks for your help.

Default 1.18+

Hey guys,

Just a note, the 1.18+s will be back in stock shortly. We're working overtime to match these at the moment.
