I'll see you Saturday on the track. You know if it's hotter than hell up there still? I went up a couple weekends ago and it was in the mid 90's again with the track temps over 145F! About 3 minutes into a test run pushing hard and you could tell how hot it was

It's working well. It reacts to changes differently than the Losi did. i.e. it reacts the way it's supposed to. I think that's going to help me a lot. I was always a little conservitive with the Losi when it came to making changes because it seemed to be a little hit or miss. So I'd get a comfortable setup that was pretty fast from the start and everyone else is making changes to go faster and I'm staying where I am. So I'll be able to gamble a little more with setup changes at races and feel confidant that the car's going to do what it should. I tested at the Hesperia track a couple weeks ago where regionals are going to be and ran ten or eleven runs and made a change on every single one and each change made the difference I was expecting. That instills a lot of confidence in the car.

that makes sense... i remember the couple Losi cars i ran a while back. seemed like they had a veery small "window", where they worked really well, but you could make a very small change, and..... yikes!!!!!

good luck at the Regionals!!!

Thanks.

The Losi is a good car and it helped me improve a lot while driving it. But there were changes I'd make that were supposed to do one thing and put it on the track and it'd do the exact opposite, or even worse it'd do something totally different.

i think the part that bothers me about the Xray is trying to solder the motor leads on while the motor is in the car.....

BTW- For those who may be reading this, all this about Xray v.s Schumacher is just joking around among friends. I wouldn't really bash another manufacturers products. I don't do that. I just have to give buddies a hard time, that all.
